Refunds and cancelling

Last changed 4 October 2026.

When you pay through Fency, you pay the club. The club is the seller, and it decides refunds.

Asking for a refund

  1. Ask the club. Use the “Get in touch” form on the club’s site, or reply to the email confirming what you paid for. Say what you bought and why you’d like it refunded.
  2. The club decides, under its own rules and the law. A card payment is refunded to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days. A bank transfer, cash or cheque is refunded by the club directly.
  3. If you can’t reach the club, write to hello@fency.club with the club’s name and what you paid. We’ll put it in front of the club’s admins. We can’t refund a club’s payment ourselves, because the money is the club’s, not ours.

Stopping a membership that renews

A membership paid by card may renew by itself each year or month. You can stop that at any time: sign in, open “Your memberships”, choose the membership and press “Stop it renewing”. It runs to the end of what you’ve paid for, and nothing more is taken.

Courses and deposits

A course place, and any deposit paid to book it, is refunded on the club’s own terms. Ask the club before you book if you may need to cancel.

Your rights

Nothing here affects your rights in law. If something you paid for wasn’t provided, and the club doesn’t put it right, you can also ask your card’s bank about a chargeback.

Fency’s own charges

Fency is free for members and for clubs. Our only charge is 0.5% of each card payment to a club, paid by the club. There is nothing for us to refund to a member.
